Media Bias. Schakowsky's Great Vacant Lot

Republican challenger in the 9th Joel Pollak on the Sun Times' Pioneer Press coverage, Big Journalism.

No question blatant bias. They butcher and massage the news. Disgusting.

That's one of the reasons I started blogging. It came to the point that the only way you could find out what was going on in town was to read the letters to the editor--eventually those too were cut or chopped up beyond recognition. My experience was with the Wilmette Life, when they still had local editors. As I recall, during campaign season the editorial decisions were taken over by the leftist Evanston Review.

I've been blogging now for nearly 5 years. Since then the Pioneer Press papers have shrunk to a few, while the Sun Times is barely publishing these days.

And thankfully, as Pollak points out, there is a good online alternative for local news, Patch.com.

As for Jan Schakowsky, she is still a corrupt and contemptuous Democrat, blind to the threats to our way of life and the future of our children. A vacant lot. Related post: Calling out Collar County Women,
