Obama some of my best friends (like Pfleger) are Catholic

“When I was a young community organizer, I was working with Catholic churches and they taught me that no government program can make as much of a difference as kindness and commitment on the part of neighbors and friends,” he said at a Colorado fundraiser earlier that day.
Pfleger's no Mother Teresa, but the HHS still would consider this non-religious activity. Well, so do I in the case of anything that hate-filled hack does, but what a sorry argument.

Maybe the PC media will cover this now but don't expect them to ask substantive questions about this policy disconnect.

In case you forgot Pfleger's epic rant (at the Rev. Wright's church by the way):

Then there's this gem: Father Pfleger memorializes Trayvon Martin with wooden statue, hoodie, Skittles at church altar [VIDEO]

Oh, yeah, good luck with that tack, Barack.

...from an old post:
It's another lesson in the war on religious freedom, intentional or unintentional. The late Chicago Cardinal Bernadin comes to mind.

When you lose independence and personal accountability, you may lose your soul along the way.
True kindness and commitment to core principles of faith are key in making a real difference.

Just as adherence to the 1st amendment's religious freedom is the bedrock of America's success.

P.S.

LOL LOL Way to go, Cardinal Dolan! "On the soup line, what are we supposed to do? Ask for baptismal certificates?"
