Joe Walsh: A revolution to save America's soul

The TEA Party first term Republican from Illinois, facing machine Dem Tammy Duckworth, battling for hearts and minds in a new district drawn by corrupt Dem Illinois pols.

His townhall meeting, packed with citizens on a Sunday afternoon, Chicago suburbs. Joe Walsh lays it on the line: More feedback from another friend, a mom, who was there:
Saw everyone from afar at the Walsh meeting – he was great. The people on both sides of me were Independents and are going to vote for Romney. Glad for Marathon’s video as I was in a bad spot. I thought there was a lot of new anger in the crowd.
And tweet from the meeting:
Dems and Obama can't run from this government run amok--they made it they own it. It's their dark vision and we want no part of it.

 More. Our litany, in part:
Obama has said throughout his candidacy and his presidency that he will not raise taxes on anyone whose household income is less than $250,000 a year. He even attacked John McCain’s 2008 health care reform as a middle-class tax increase. Americans for Tax Reform, however, identifies no less than 20 additional or higher taxes the bill imposes on incomes of different levels. Justice Roberts’s ruling that “the shared responsibility payment may for constitutional purposes be considered a tax” uncloaks the individual mandate as one of the largest middle-class tax increases in history. This is a Death-Star-worthy laser aimed at Obama’s planet-sized ego. His credibility is dust. “The bill was sold to the American people as a deception,” minority leader Mitch McConnell said on the floor of the Senate Thursday. Sarah Palin put it more succinctly: “Obama lies; freedom dies.”
It's 1776, folks: The Tea Party movement is broad-based and hearkens back to the time of the founding fathers. You know, when we had the first Boston Tea Party against taxation without representation. We draw on de Tocqueville, not Alinsky.
