Is Barack Obama Too Big To Fail?

He doesn't engage, he demagogues. He doesn't debate, he demeans.

But even the official media organs of the left can't sustain his blatant untruths any more. Tom Bevan, RCP Blog.

The Politico
notes his personal attack style, unprecedented in any recent president. Is the cult of The One his Achilles heel?

What happens when his adoring throngs won't obey any more?

What happens when the race card gets worn to shabby threads, and we see what a crude and contemptuous president we have.

What happens when the stimulus is shown to be a bust and jobs haven't materialized. Even the Obama spinners at AP can't ignore it any more, and in his home state:

The president's home state of Illinois, where he'll travel Wednesday, has one of the nation's highest unemployment rates, 11.5 percent.

That's a far different reality than what the administration predicted last year, when Obama rallied support for the $787 billion economic stimulus package. At the time, the White House said the massive infusion of taxpayer funds would keep the unemployment rate from topping 8 percent, though the administration later revised those estimates, saying the recession proved to be worse than it expected.

Now we learn the Medicare actuary's cost-prohibitive report was suppressed before the big vote by the White House and the HHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, who will have near dictatorial powers over ObamaCare.

Heritage
: The Obama Fiscal Responsibility Farce Continues. The president, after plunging us into trillion dollar deficits, punts the findings of a blue-ribbon bipartisan fiscal responsibility commission of retired politicians until after the election, and the Democrats who run Congress can't even enact a budget.

Why? Because they can't tell the truth.

Even Obama fan Warren Buffet is on waivers
. And for what? Sensible reform? Opposition to the Senate bill was bipartisan. Unintended consequences can be devastating.

The November elections had better be a major FAIL for Democrats, to cut this president down to size. Restoring balanced government and balanced budgets might be the only thing to save this presidency. And the country.
