U.S. citizen David Headley was arrested in October 2009 in Chicago for planning terrorist attacks against a Danish newspaper and two of its employees. During the course of this investigation, the FBI collected intelligence that uncovered Headley’s operational role in the 2008 attacks in Mumbai, India, and connected him to a separate plot to kill an individual in Denmark. On January 14, 2010, a superseding indictment was filed against Headley relating to his conspiring with others to plan and execute attacks in both Denmark and India, and in March 2010, he pled guilty on all counts.Chicago is on the terror radar, isn't it?

And then there was the sharia supremacist group Hizb-ut-Tahrir's recruiting conference in the Chicago suburbs in 2009 and the eventually successful meeting in 2010 (at the Hilton) with no media scrutiny. Multiculti concepts in terror. The Holy Land Foundation operated out of the Chicago suburbs, convicted of funneling money to terrorists, and its unindicted co-conspirator the Islamic Society of North America meets in Chicago on July 4th every year, inviting luminaries such as Bill Ayers' domestic terrorist spouse Bernardine Dohrn and the president of Iran. Fatima Mohammadi made an appearance. This year the Obama administration allowed Tariq Ramadan back in the country, a man who believes there should only be a moratorium on the stoning of women. He headlined their conference and then moved on around the country. One brave woman took him on.

The Nexus between Barack Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States, written by my friend Eric Voogd. Read it all. But note this:
At the end of September 2010, Chicago will become a destination point for the international community’s top Islamic representation which includes the entire top leadership of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) together with the top leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood in America. HYPERLINK “http://www.oicun.org/9/You decide. [CAIR has also been cited as an undicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land case--but the Obama Justice Dept. has refused to prosecute, see video above. Now they are co-hosting a conference with the Obama administration.]

The leadership of the OIC, Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Muslim Brotherhood are meeting at the American Islamic College in Chicago on the 28 to 30th of September 2010.

Here are three key paragraphs from the email (the entire article on the August 31 event from the ISNA email is pasted below this post as reference):

Given Woodward's disclosures, Axelrose's question was well-founded.More. Got an email:A classified exercise in May showed that the government was woefully unprepared to deal with a nuclear terrorist attack in the United States. The scenario involved the detonation of a small, crude nuclear weapon in Indianapolis and the simultaneous threat of a second blast in Los Angeles.
Obama noted that if only Indianapolis had been targeted, "since it's a Red State, I'm not sure anyone notices."
Okay. I made that part up.
that backpack bombing attempt outside a nightclub on Clark Street in Wrigleyville this past weekend....this reminds of Israel....in June 2001, a bomber exploded himself and murdered 21 people while injuring 120 in Tel Aviv outside a disco clubTAS: The Sharia-Compliant American Left:
Robinson finds it absurd that Gingrich would say, "How we don't have some kind of movement in this country on the left that understands that sharia is a direct mortal threat to virtually every value that the left has is really one of the most interesting historical questions." But Gingrich is hardly the first person to make this point. Liberals such as the late Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci and Salman Rushdie complained about the obtuseness of progressive Islamophiles long before Gingrich talked about it. When Tony Blair wowed progressives in 2005 by naming Sir Iqbal Sacranie as the face of moderate Islam in the U.K, Rushdie had to remind his peers that Sacranie approved of the fatwa on his head (saying "death is perhaps too easy" for Rushdie) and had boycotted a Holocaust remembrance.ABC7Chicago: Judge orders accused Chicago bomb plotter held
Tribune: No bond for man accused in Wrigleyville bomb plot. Sami Samir Hassoun's lawyer calls him "a troubled young man who was scattered in his thoughts.":
Hassoun was born in Lebanon and raised in Ivory Coast, where his parents owned a store and the family enjoyed a privileged lifestyle that changed abruptly following a military coup in the late 1990s, Auerbach said. The family then moved to Beirut "in the time of Hezbollah and bombs" and lived there until moving to the U.S. about two years ago, Auerbach said.
"He saw death and mayhem and destruction as a very young child," said Auerbach, who met Hassoun for the first time a few hours before the detention hearing. "Sometimes people who have lived through that kind of trauma, they embellish."
