Alexi Giannoulias: I have not been to Israel, but plan to go soon after the election

Mark Kirk: I’ve been to Israel many times travelling all around the country. I’ve stood on the Golan looking across at Syria and visited the rocket shelters in Sderot. I’ve toured the Arrow missile battery at Palmachim and met with the American and Israeli soldiers manning the X-Band radar. You cannot fully appreciate what Israel is all about until you visit.

Alexi has a very iffy grasp of foreign policy to say the least.
